Taking care of my skin is very important, but I don’t really have the time and money to get daily facial treatments at a spa or go to the dermatologist whenever I want. So I like to find and experiment with products and pretty much do my own facials at home! Today, I’d like to share with you all one of my at home facials and maybe inspire you to try it out or even try to experiment and create your own facial kit. I call this the “Basic Facial Care” which aims to detox the pores and brighten the face.
So if you’re interested, keep reading!
I will be using a gentle peeling gel to exfoliate the layer of dead skin to help better prep my skin for detoxing my pores on Step#2.
Start with well cleansed and dry face.Remove all your make up and wash you face with your daily face cleanser.
Squeeze enough amount on to the palm of your hands and mix the product with a little water added then apply on to your face avoiding the eye area.
Let the product sit for 1 minute or 2.
Then gently massage your face in circular motions.**While massaging, you’ll start seeing the layer of dead skin clumping up. As you can see on the picture below the clumps!
After rinse your face with warm water.
Lastly, pat dry your face.
After removing all the dead skin layer on my face, it is time to detox the pores and remove all impurities and blackheads thats been chilling on my face!
On dry skin, apply a few pumps onto to desired areas.**Aim on areas such as T-zone, chin and other areas prone to blackheads!
Let the product sit on your face for 5-10 minutes. After a couple of minutes, you’ll start seeing bubbles forming on areas where your pores are larger.
After massage your face to help unplug your pores. While massaging your face, for me it really felt like I was unplugging my pores. Like the peeling gel, you’ll see clumps of dirt forming.
Then rinse with cold water. On the package it mentions to rinse with warm water however,TIPusing cold water to rinse helps tighten pores. Since I’ve detoxed and opened my pores, I want to close them back and tighten!
Pat face dry.
Last step to bring moist and treat your skin with this Cute Panda!
TIP–Pour some toner on to a cotton pad and apply to your face. This step is optional, it is like an extra step to gently exfoliate your skin and help the product absorb to your skin better.
Apply generous amount to your face and spread evenly.Done! Time for bed Zzzzz
