Spring is just around the corner, so it's time to freshen up some of your beauty products. Recently Korean Beauty (aka K-Beauty) has been one of the biggest trends in the cosmetic world! So that being said, I have ventured out to seek some K-Beauty products for myself for this spring. From what I have seen and researched, there’s a vast amount of different products out there. From acne to anti-aging to dark spots to pore care there is something for all types of skin.
For myself, I have a combination of skin issues during the warm but slightly windy weather in LA. Since the weather has been changing dramatically from cold rainy days to warm with chilly winds to HOT! Normally my skin type is oily and acne prone, but with the chilly winds I’m now running in to having dry skin as well. With all these issues to my skin I also run in to makeup problems like my eyeliner not staying on or my skin starting to get too oily throughout the day. Well good news, I have some of my finds to share with you guys!!
Here is 7 K-Beauty Products that definitely changed my daily skin care routine.
This special set comes with a peeling gel and a gift which is the cleanser. This duo set certified by the ECO-cert and contains Argan Oil, Organic Raw material extract like Sandalwood, Aloe Vera & Bilberry.
I start my day with the Pure Argan Cleansing Foam as this cleanser helps with dry skin and enlarged pores. The Argan Oil helps rehydrate dry skin and removes unwanted dirt and oils, leaving your skin feeling hydrated and soft.
The Peeling Gel, well if you guys have never used one it might be an interesting experience. I say this because the peeling gels are made to remove dead skin cells that add unnecessary texture to the skin. Sounds crazy, but the gel is formulated to remove unwanted cells & dirt to help the skin renew, tone up & brighten up. It's recommended to use once or twice a week depending on your skin type. As for myself, I use it once a week. This set definitely helped my skin out by rehydrating my dry skin, while help minimize my pores resulting in controlling my oily skin.
If you have problems controlling your acne look no further, Dr. Jart’s CTRL-A line is the solution. I wasn’t one to use toners after you finish washing your face, but once I started it made a huge difference for my skin. The toner helped sooth redness when I had break outs and also helped prevent future break outs.
Another item from Dr. Jart’s CTRL-A line the Spot Out serum is great for those tough acne and future acnes. The serum is formulated to target irritated and inflamed acne to help reduce redness and help restore your skin back to vibrant condition. It’s also in a portable case so you can use it anytime anywhere.
Another great brand that helps with troubled skin is Care Zone. The A-Cure Clarifying line has 11 types of vegetable & herb extracts that helps control oil and moisture balance. This moisturizer helped with my dry troubled skin. The cream has a great finish leaving my skin feeling super moisturized and smooth.
I love liquid eyeliners - especially ones with a super sharp felt tip that freely lets you create desired shapes and lines - whether it be bold or sophisticated. So when I discovered Clio Waterproof Kill Black Pen Liner, I was excited because it was waterproof and smudge proof and super thin! I’ve tried all kinds of liquid liners and most never stayed on long enough. Once I tried it, I fell in love as it did exactly what it claimed. Free of all smudges! I highly recommend it.
Another great find from Clio will have to be the Kill Brow Gel Pencil. Like the Kill Black Pen Liner, having the smudge proof formula for your brows is great. Since I have oily skin, sometimes I end up having to reapply my makeup. With Clio’s Kill Brow Gel Pencil, the application is great because of its super creamy texture that delivers that bold but yet natural looking brows.
This pressed powder helps eliminate shine, so it's a must have for oily skin people like myself! I have used the oil absorbing sheets, but I always felt that it never fully got all the oil off my face. Also I have used translucent powder that has only worked for an hour - them back to oily skin. This oil capture pact containing natural corn starch powder and sliding blur powder helps eliminate excess shine without dryness. Great for touch ups throughout the day, but for myself once I apply it on for the day I don’t need to do any touch ups. Super compact and comes in a cute mint color case, great for the spring time!
You can purchase all these items atwww.bluescandal.com, and they have a huge selection of beauty products and fragrance. If you guys try out any of these product I would love to hear your feedback on them!
