Skincare Sunday Recap
I've been keeping up with Skincare Sunday, using only Korean Beauty products with natural ingredients, and it's been SO worth it. My skin looks healthier each week, and I'm trying my best to keep up a light, daily routine too. The results?
- Minimal breakouts.
- Zero dry patches.
- Noticeably less redness.
- Skin that's irresistibly soft.
Deviating from My Go-To
Usually I use a BRTC makeup remover, a Vitamin D foaming cleanser by It's Skin, and for months now I've sworn by Pure Heals' Propolis line for toner, ampoule, and cream. I have dry, eczema-prone skin so the honey and mega-dose of propolis are exactly what I need for skin that's hydrated and touchably, satiny soft.
Even those of us with dry skin need to give our pores some deep-cleaning TLC every now and then. Hello, Pure Heals!

Volcanic Pore Heating Gel

I'm not gonna lie, I was STOKED when I found out I would get to try two of the most fascinating items in the Volcanic Line. I had never used a heated gel, or volcanic ash on my face, so I couldn't wait!
So What's It Like?
Within seconds, a warm sensation emanates from the gel as I scrub my pores using the gentle silicone brush head. The formula is slick, not oily but definitely slippery and glossy, making it a fantastic deep-pore cleanser and exfoliator in one.
It rinses clean and doesn't leave residue or oily feeling, but I definitely feel hydrated. The gel isn't stripping at all, which I'm impressed by. I hate using a deep pore cleanser that leaves my skin tight or dry.
Next Up: Volcanic Clay Mask

This mask pack isn't kidding around. I can hold it upside down for DAYS and it won't budge. The dense formula glides onto my skin and stays put, which would make it perfect for a T-Zone treatment for those times when I don't need a full facial.
After adding the rich, mineral-packed product to my face, I get to sit pretty for around 20 minutes, letting git do its magic. And I'm envisioning all the toxins being absorbed... the gunk being loosened from my pores... the build-up that would soon be washed away with so many dead skin cells.
So yeah, while I was waiting I took a few selfies ^_^
The Final Result
My skin looks immaculate. No makeup on, and it was a no-brainer that I would just skip it all together that day.
More and more often, Sundays are becoming a day of rest for my makeup routine, giving my skin a chance to breathe.
